Best TVs for the Money

When buying televisions, there are three main elements you need to consider and review: budget limit, lifestyle, and general preference. The most important element is the budget limit because this will determine the range of your selection and it will help narrow down hundreds of choices. Let’s say you have twenty television units to choose from. I don’t think you’ll be able to buy one within the day. So, if you work on a limited budget, you get to only consider TV units that fit in your budget range. Since the middle class population has a significant percentage of the world’s total population, we’ll use this category to determine an ideal budget. In a middle class family, an average of $300-$500 is expected to be spent for television purchases. Surprisingly, there are plenty of best buys within this price range. Also, you get to choose a specific brand that manufactures high-quality televisions at affordable prices.

Second, assess your lifestyle. So you are working on a $300-$500 budget, but further ask yourself: “Do I have a space that fits a 52” LCD TV?” and “How many hours a day or a week am I watching TV?” Televisions come in different sizes—21” being the standard size up to 64”. The space where you intend to house your new television has a big role in your selection process because it serves as your limit ground to the size you must consider. If 21” seems a little unlikable, you might want to check on the 32”.  Another factor you have to reflect on is to assess whether you are a heavy TV watcher or not, whether you’re used to reading a book instead of watching TV when trying to fall asleep at night. This way, you get to slash out other considerations like instead of buying two televisions for your home, buying one is more practical and make sure to place it where your guests can have access to it, like in the entertainment room.

Third and last but not the least, give credit to your own personal preference. After all, whatever you choose will be part of your everyday life and an accent to your home so it’s justifiable to add your personal preference to your television choice. If you want an HDTV, 3DTV, or Internet TV, wall mounted or placed on a television stand, it’s all up to you but make sure to play around your practical choices mentioned earlier.
